CPH:DOX 2017

It is exciting to see when for the first time, the world’s third largest documentary film festival moves into the premises of Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen. In a large scale interior project, the different rooms of the imposing art gallery were redecorated exclusively with Normann Copenhagen's furniture. You will find handpicked and custom made designs to fit each of the rooms' different purposes. A melting of cultural and artistic expression par excellence!

The center piece at this year's festival is marked by Denmark's very first social design cinema, where 250 guests can take their place in custom-made sofa rows. The Social Cinema concept aims to bring people together for a shared film experience in a laid-back and intimate environment. 

Lean back onto the comfort of Normann Copenhagen’s orange and pink colored Rope sofas, which are inspired by CPH:DOX’s theme of human diversity, and therefore are held in various shades of skin tones.

Meet up with friends in the luxurious lounge areas, listen to inspiring talks in the monochrome blue "conversation kitchen", explore alternate universes in the foam-clad, nude colored VR cinema and watch documentary movies in Denmark’s very first Social Cinema, designed with 110 meters of Normann Copenhagen's Rope modular sofas.
