We are delighted to be a part of Copenhagen Airport's new lounge area Atelier Relaxium: a daringly colorful environment that makes you smile, act, stop and think! The lounge is divided up in two areas: a social environment for leisure held in red and bright yellow, and a quiet zone furnished with calming blues and greens that offer space to work or rest.
Rope sofas and Bell lamps offer comfortable seating, with Circus poufs used as side tables.
Atelier Relaxium is designed by Aviator Denmark, who wanted to offer both a private and social space with a unique experience. Custom-made Normann Copenhagen designs, embracing the entire spectrum of colors, form an inviting rainbow across the space. Everything from the comfortable Rope sofas to the sleek chrome-based Form chairs and voluminous Bell lamps, is carefully color-coordinated.
Passengers can thus sit down in the area with the particular color that matches their mood. Install yourself among passionate, warm colors inviting you to talk and hang out, or more cooler and tranquil tones that make you feel relaxed and focused. This should remedy the feeling of stress that many people experience at the start of their journey.
The new area responds to an increasing demand for lounge areas, not only among the airport's business travellers, but also those travelling for pleasure. Every day, more than 5,000 passengers use one of Copenhagen Airport’s lounges, around a third of whom are leisure travellers.
Aviator Denmark seeks to accommodate this new diversity, by providing a lounge where walk-in access is affordable and where everyone feels welcome. Atelier Relaxium can be found in Terminal 2, Pier A, on the first and second floors with space for 150 guests at a time.
