ICONS IN NEW COLORS

Last week, we celebrated the launch of the iconic Krenit Bowl and Form Chair collection in new colors at the Normann Copenhagen flagship store.

For the launch event, ICONS IN NEW COLORS, guests were invited to taste the colors in a color-coordinated spread of sweet and savory servings presented alongside each of the new Form Chair color options: Brown, Bright Blue, Bright Red, Cream, Warm Grey and Light Grey.

In another setting of the Normann Copenhagen flagship store, a green-themed shop was established, presenting the new anniversary edition of the Krenit Bowl, a vibrant Green.

Form Chair – An icon of modern, Scandinavian chair design expands with 6 new colors

First launched in 2014, the Form Chair has become one of Normann Copenhagen's best-selling designs and its silhouette a modern chair icon. Originally introduced in a classic color palette of six color options, the collection is now expanded with the addition of six new colors: Brown, Bright Blue, Bright Red, Cream, Warm Grey and Light Grey. The new colors offer increased possibilities within the chair's many iterations while reflecting the brand's evolution and the way Normann Copenhagen works with colors.

Krenit Bowl – A Danish design icon celebrates 70 years

Krenit Bowl, a Danish design icon, was a pioneering design when it was initially launched in 1953. Designed by Herbert Krenchel, the design was the essence of a bowl, stripped of all unnecessary details, boasting a simple, contrastful design comprising a mat black outer surface and a vibrant, colored inner surface.

For its 70th anniversary, the bright Green color was chosen as a tribute to Herbert, whose love for nature remains a vivid memory within the family.
