TABLEAU
TABLEAU is a Copenhagen-based multidisciplinary creative studio and exhibition space founded in 2018 by floral designer Julius Værnæs Iversen. Working across floral design, object design, set design, interior design, and architectural installations, the studio challenges established boundaries between art and design through a collaborative and cross-disciplinary approach.

At the center of TABLEAU is Julius Værnæs Iversen’s intuitive design philosophy. Raised by his flower merchant father and interior designer mother, he grew up understanding how organic materials and spatial composition influence atmosphere. Flowers were never merely decorative; they were tools for shaping emotion and experience. This early perspective continues to define TABLEAU’s work today. The studio has become known for its approach to botany as a spatial medium, producing installations that transform rooms and shape atmosphere.

Across its work, TABLEAU operates through three core principles — intuition, relationship, and community. Whether through exhibitions, installations, or product design, the studio approaches each project as a way of connecting people and spaces through material expression — an approach that deeply resonates with Normann Copenhagen’s brand philosophy.
