Our leather

We offer natural, high-quality, top grain leather from Sørensen Leather for our upholstered furniture. We work with three different styles, each with specific attributes that accommodate diverse needs.

Leather is a durable material exuding exclusivity that fits almost any interior style. Because of its supreme proprieties, it’s no surprise that leather furniture is widely used in contemporary furniture design. If leather is maintained properly, the material can last throughout generations.

The widespread use of the material has caused a demand for more creative expressions. Therefore, we’ve introduced a larger selection of colors for our upholstered leather furniture, ranging from bolder tones to soft neutrals, allowing space for creating just the right aesthetic.

Our leather furniture is upholstered with leather from our long-time collaborator Sørensen Leather and is manufactured entirely without the use of PCP or CFC.

We work with two types of leather for our upholstered furniture.

Semi-Aniline leather

In the video below Partner & Sales Director at Sørensen Leather, Mads Sørensen shares the key benefits of semi-aniline leather.

Protected leather

A uniform grain pattern, surface protection and easy upkeep. In the video below Mads Sørensen talks about the advantages of corrected leather, which is also known as pigmented leather or protected leather.

Care and maintenance

Leather is a natural material. Like most natural materials, it needs care to ensure a long-lasting appeal, and if treated right it can last for generations.

The care and maintenance of leather will always depend on the specific way in which it is used, the conditions of use and how often it is used.

A few simple tips will help preserve the leather’s natural beauty and will make the leather look even more luscious over time:

  • Avoid placing the leather in direct sunlight or extreme heat
  • Clean using the foam from soap flakes for housecleaning
  • Avoid soaking the leather or any contact with sharp objects
  • To absorb any spills, use a clean, dry cloth immediately
  • To dust, use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush regularly
  • Never use detergents, ammonia, oils, polish, varnish, etc.

Clean using soap flakes

  1. Use a 1/2 deciliter of soap flakes to a liter of water. Whip the soap flakes into hot water.
  2. When the water becomes room temperature, the foam must be applied all over the leather with a soft cloth. Make sure to only use the foam and avoid soaking the leather.
  3. When the leather is dry, polish it with a soft, dry cotton cloth.
