Softy Modular Sofa combines a minimalist frame with an invitingly soft design, offering a deeply comfortable seating experience. Fully upholstered, including its legs, the sofa maintains a seamless and cohesive expression. Its modular system includes six different components, which can be easily linked via discreet connecting brackets, allowing for versatile configurations suited to any space.
Textile: Clean with textile or upholstery cleaner. Leather: Clean with damp cloth. Frequent vacuuming with a soft fitting is recommended both for textile and leather to preserve color and appearance.

The design is rooted in contrasts: a structured outer frame meets the generous, cloud-like softness of the cushions. This juxtaposition highlights both elements - precision and comfort - while offering a sense of enclosure that feels like its own room within a room. The modular construction allows for customization, with six different module types that can be easily connected via discreet connecting hook brackets, making it adaptable to various spaces and needs. With a balance of Danish and Japanese design influences, Softy is a refined addition to modern living spaces, inviting you to sit back and sink into its inviting comfort.
Simon Legald
Simon Legald graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. His work consists of both small- and large scale products. Simon's designs are often created in a dialogue between craftsmanship and industry. He also likes to incorporate the techniques that are necessary for the structure of a product into the design by highlighting them visually.
"Honesty is what makes a product understandable and is what describes the products functionality. If you understand the product, it does not need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore, it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects and makes them trustworthy. In my design, I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression."
