Level Rug is hand-tufted from 100% wool, known for its durability, softness and warmth. As implied by its name, Level is a minimalistic yet intricately detailed rug that presents a deliberately uneven surface achieved through varying pile heights, creating a contrasting effect. Level Rug is available in three rectangular and one round size and in two contemporary colors of Light Yellow or Warm Grey.
We recommend regular cleaning by vacuuming in the direction of the rug's pile. If the rug is in need of washing, this must be done by a professional carpet cleaner. Note that it is considered normal for new rugs to shed.

Level Rug and Seam Rug are inspired by tailoring techniques, presenting an intricate balance of experimentation and precision informed by the designer’s background in fashion. The result is two distinct rug collections that feel both timeless and innovative.

Hand-tufted from 100% wool, Level Rug explores the interplay of textures through varying pile heights, creating a dynamic contrast that complements its monochrome color palette. While the color itself remains consistent, the shifting pile levels give the illusion of a subtle tonal difference, infusing the design with a unique depth and intriguing appeal.
Urd Moll Gundermann
Growing up in a creative home, Danish designer Urd Moll Gundermann was inspired by her father, a visual artist, and the transformation of ideas into tangible works. "As a child, I knew I was driven to create," she recalls, "and that my future lay in design."
After earning a Master’s degree specializing in clothing and textiles from the Royal Danish Academy, Urd further developed her expertise in fashion, print and industrial design, leading her to her current work as Head of Design at esteemed Danish rug design house, Linie Design.
For Urd, design is about storytelling. Her intuitive, exploratory approach reflects a deep fascination with materials – how textures, contrasts, and harmonies evoke emotion. Her inspirations are manifold, spanning art in all forms, nature's shifting light, architectural shapes, reflections on water and the tactile qualities of surfaces. "Design is more than form and function – it’s a dialogue with the space around it. A well-crafted piece doesn’t just exist; it engages, evokes, and takes on a life of its own," Urd elaborates.
For Normann Copenhagen, Urd has created Seam Rug and Level Rug, two designs that draw inspiration from tailoring techniques, rooted in her background in fashion.
