About

Perfect for the little nooks

The new Klip Lamp collection is designed with function in mind. Klip is an elegant and modern collection of wall lamps and clip on lamps that will fit nicely into the smaller nooks, where light is much needed, but space is limited. Adorn the hallway, bookshelf, or bedside with this modern and adaptable lamp collection.

The Klip collection is characterized by its sharp and clean geometrical design cues and its flexibility.
Klip consists of a base and a conical shade, which are held together by a 360° turning joint, making it possible to adjust the light in any given direction. The lamp’s mobility allows it to change between direct and indirect light, making it perfect for both the workplace, as bedside lighting, and as a pleasant, atmospheric light in the living room.

The Klip Lamp has an elegant clip that can easily be attached to any surface by tightening the small knob at the bottom. The clip is equipped with discreet silicone pads, ensuring soft and gentle attachment. The Klip Lamp can therefore easily be moved around and adjusted to the desired setting.

The minimalist design comes in several different color variations. Make a bold statement with the electric green or simply let Klip blend elegantly in with the existing décor by choosing the more subtle colors of sand, white and black. The color palette accommodates any preference.
Klip is a versatile light for everyday use in both domestic and commercial settings, such as hotel rooms, lobbies, or restaurants.

Designer

Simon Legald

Simon Legald graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. His work consists of both small- and large scale products. Simon’s designs are often created in a dialogue between craftsmanship and industry. He also likes to incorporate the techniques that are necessary for the structure of a product into the design by highlighting them visually.

“Honesty is what makes a product understandable and is what describes the products functionality. If you understand the product, it does not need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore, it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects and makes them trustworthy. In my design, I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression.”
