She studied Graphic Design / Visual Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg. AKTTEM is an innovation and design studio, working in the fields of product design, brand design and interior installations, and is known for its innovative, human-centered, functional designs, with a clear and timeless aesthetic, combined with highly skilled craftsmanship.

AKTTEM's design philosophy revolves around creating designs that improve the world and enhance the lives of individuals. Verena draws inspiration from people and their lives, everyday situations, and interactions, as well as art, architecture, and design. With a deep passion for exploration, creation, and building things since her early years, Verena is driven by a desire to create meaningful designs that challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of design.
