Plywood, PU Foam and Textile Canvas 224
6,5 kg
Silo pouf is made of cut PU foam glued to plywood boards. The plywood creates stability in the construction while adding a sharp visual profile. The foam creates soft comfort with a firm surface, which opens for more flexible uses e.g. as alternative to a coffee table.
Textile: Clean with textile or upholstery cleaner. Frequent vacuuming with a soft fitting is recommended to preserve color and appearance.
Silo Pouf
The Silo pouf takes its name from its simple cylindrical shape. A timeless design in all its simplicity, Silo boasts a simplistic silhouette that is stripped of all unnecessary details. Its clean, geometric appearance makes it seem as a blank canvas, allowing it to transform to fit seamlessly into any space or taste according to the chosen upholstery.
The poufs are available in three sizes, Ø50, Ø70 and Ø90 cm, and can be upholstered in a wide variety of textiles and leathers in many different color options.
Silo has a soft but firm surface so that it can act as a stand-in for a coffee table, for example to keep magazines and literature. The pouf can live in a hall, living room, dressing room or bedroom as a flexible and decorative addition to the furnishings.
Hans Hornemann
"In my opinion design should be a balance between an aesthetic minimalism and functionality with a user friendly experience. As a designer I aim to be true to the material used in order to enhance and bring out its natural qualities and characteristics. I value clean and minimalistic lines that add a new spin to the classic design. In creating a design, I think it's important to start from scratch and bring a new contribution to the products idiom, expression or functionality."
